  • Surprisingly helpful program

    By StuPim (Pcmac user)

I’ve been pleasantly surprised about the effectiveness of this incentive program - specifically, the frequency of my interaction with this app. I’ve been focusing on my health the last 3 years, so frequent exercise had become part of my weekly routine prior to my experience with this program. As I focused on Triathlon and Bike Tour training during the spring and summer months, I watched my points balance grow steadily each week -and I rewarded myself with a new set of headphones in August. Here’s the 3 unexpected benefits. First, my focus on overall health maintenance - dental checkup, vision exams, etc. - has improved because of the reminders I get from this app. Second, as my Triathlon and Bike Tour events wound down in the fall, this app has heightened my attention to a natural drop in weekly exercise - which has motivated me to increase my workouts over the past 2 months. Third, as I’m approaching my “Gold” milestone near the end of the year, I find myself seeking out ways to earn more points before year end - such as running in a 10k over Thanksgiving - activities that would not have been considered a “priority” in years past. In summary, excellent program overall, efficient app.
  • Great app and program

    By A Hollon (Pcmac user)

We started participating early this year and didn’t really think anything of it. I first thought, “Just another program the insurance company does to make you think they care.” Which it is. However, we went months without checking in on it and when we finally decided to we had over 12,000 bucks to spend on gifts. We got each of sons a Garmin Jr, and my spouse a new fitbit. The only thing I wish they would allow is for the kids activity trackers to report to the account as well. I also wish they would separate each family member so they could see what they earned. Some of the extra ways to earn points don’t make sense or they make very difficult to prove. All in all it a free program and it’s very easy to sign up and use.
  • Works well most of the time!

    By Ahardson (Pcmac user)

I have been using this app for a little over a year now but I find that some of the most important features like tracking steps and keeping points up to date are kind of spotty. It’s never consistent or accurate, but mostly pretty close. But that was not the most annoying thing, I’m writing this review because of this update (which this is the 2nd time I’m having a forced update). The problem is I use facial recognition and because of the update I have to use a password log in, of course it’s been so long since I’ve actually used my password I was forced to reset it. This took an act of Congress! I don’t have to jump through so many hoops to Change my bank account or credit card passwords. I have worked at a bank and totally understand privacy & security but this is ridiculous!!! I don’t want to have to update my password every time you have an update, update your system so it remembers my facial recognition when you have an update PLEASE!
  • Too confusing & unrealistic to be worthwhile

    By Antsofthesky23 (Pcmac user)

I’m not a big fan of this app. Points are extremely hard to come by when doing actual physical activity (you know, being healthy) but then you get hundreds for activities that are only one time like filling out a health assessment or getting a flu shot. I also have the Apple health app set to sync over and the steps come over just fine but the sleep info does not come over at all. Probably the worst part though is how convoluted it is to understand how you got points in the first place. You have to maintain a specific threshold increase in heart rate over your resting for an extended period of time to get points from tracking heart rate. That is just one example. Not to mention the fact that it does not sync regularly but you have to open the app to get it to pull over. This could be much more straight forward in execution and more generous for actually staying healthy and then it would be useful, but now it seems like a waste of time.
