Software Features and Description

1. The KeyClips app (for macOS) matches logged MovieSlate metadata with FCPX media to intelligently generate FCPX rough-cut sequences, keywords, selects, notes, and markers.

2. The MovieSlate KeyClips app organizes Final Cut Pro X (FCPX) media into category folders, keywords, selects, and sequences— with notes, markers, and optional bottom-third titles.

3. While filming a production: log shots, notes, and/or keywords with our MovieSlate 8 app (for iOS).

4. Log this data from MovieSlate’s "KeyClips" tab (part of an optional PRO Features subscription; available from MovieSlate’s Settings > Store).

5. Keyword-based workflow: project/date/timecode is used to match log data with clips— well suited for documentary, reality, and interview shoots.

6. Once logging is complete, tap the share button to send the logged data to a Mac running macOS Yosemite (v10.10) or newer.

7. Shot-based workflow: project/date/clipname data is used to match log data with clips— well suited for script-based shoots.

8. Log shots, notes, and/or keywords from MovieSlate 8.

9. Log this data from MovieSlate’s "Slate" and/or "Camera" tabs.

Install MovieSlate® KeyClips app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using MovieSlate on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MovieSlate"
The search will reveal the MovieSlate® KeyClips app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once MovieSlate is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including MovieSlate.
Now enjoy MovieSlate on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use MovieSlate,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "MovieSlate" » then Click "Install".
- MovieSlate® KeyClips will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
