To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use JVC Remote,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "JVC Remote" » then Click "Install".
- JVC Remote will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Needs lots of work!

When I try to connect to my radio it says connection failed. But I can still access the playlist like it connected. However, when choosing a song on the list you have to click the song under the song your really wanting to play.
Seems like an issue at 1st but it’s not awful

I struggled too at first, it wouldn’t connect. Then I read the error message FULLY. Forget about turning your car off and on. That’s not the issue, and it doesn’t work. The issue that they don’t mention directly is that you need the car stereo set to a certain mode. Make sure the source is: IPOD BT. It can’t just be on Bluetooth it won’t recognize what you’re doing. Since I’ve done that. I’ve been able to get in the car, wait about 5-10 seconds to pair with stereo while I get my seatbelt on, turn on the app, (which I went to preferences and made sure it vibrates on sync so I know right away if it’s connecting) and It connects within seconds in the IPOD BT mode. The vibrate gives you more easy that you’re connecting. Then you can adjust the settings and little more easier. As for the makeup of the app and what it can do. It’s like a generic remote control it gets the job done.

I have an iPhone 7plus and a the app kw-x830bts. To connect you have to be in iPhone bt mode not Bluetooth audio mode. I assume it would be the same for a google phone. The only mode that you cannot use is usb mode (for playing a thumb drive with audio). All functions work properly including EQ edit settings, color. It displays what is playing. I also use this app while listening to iHeartRadio and it works seamlessly. The original connection was the difficult part but I hope my explanation helps others.
Waste of time

Just got a new the app receiver the other day. Saw on the box that there was an app I could use to control it. “Sweet!” I thought. Well I was wrong. The app doesn’t always like to connect or is slow at it or gives you an error but still connects. The app has the options to pretty much do whatever the receiver allows you to do but way easier to navigate. Just one problem... It doesn’t work. I was able to skip songs, change volume/modes and EQ presets. But that was also when it wanted to work and let me do those things. Never was able to actually change the EQ settings since the buttons never worked to tune it. So overall it’s a pointless app right now so download it if you’re looking to get frustrated.
