Software Features and Description

1. The Hierarchic Dementia Scale was originally developed by Dr Martin Cole and Dr Dolly Dastoor in the 1970's to rate the level of cognitive functioning in people with dementia.

2. You can record the scores obtained during a HDS-R assessment using this app, and email reports and a customizable care plan out of the app.

3. It was revised in 2015 by the Dementia Training Study Centres who also developed this HDS-R App.

4. - Reports and care plans can only be obtained by emailing (exporting) from the app.

5. - Care plans can be customised once they have been exported from the app.

6. - To protect your clients’ personal information you will not be able to input your clients name in the app.

7. It may contribute to care planning.

8. Their data will only be identifiable by a unique ID.

9. It is not a diagnostic tool.

Install HDS-R app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using HDS-R on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "HDS-R"
The search will reveal the HDS-R app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once HDS-R is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including HDS-R.
Now enjoy HDS-R on PC.
