2. This means you can either learn eponyms from a given category, only the ones that you've starred or simply all of them.

4. Please only download the free version while you (still) are a student.

5. This is the free student version.

  • Re depression, bipolar and coccidiowhatever

    By bbobbzz (Pcmac user)

This is a great little app. It is a useful but very limited type of medical dictionary, just like an app that listed only "syndromes" and their definitions would be, and it doesn't pretend to be anything more than that. It's fun just to read down the list for personal education or for prep for a board exam. Mine hasn't crashed (iPhone 3GS), no problems to report. I would suggest that users who can't find "depression" or coccidiowhatever refer to a regular dictionary first so they know what an eponym is, then a medical dictionary for a definition of the non-eponymous term in question.
  • Love It!!!

Fantastic!! I couldn't ask for a better App of this app.I even love the fact how everything is broken down into categories of body systems. Sure it doesn't have everything out there, it's not a Harrison or anything, but definitely good when you need to quickly look up something. Could be updated from time to time but it's still good for m.. As for anyone who disagrees, this App like any other one is not supposed to have everything out there and def not to do our job, that's why we went to school for.
  • Not only good, but respectful

    By themedgeek (Pcmac user)

The application is extremely useful! As a student it is always nice to be able to look things up quick and easily. On top of that, the author has been gracious enough to allow a free version for students! I would beg anyone who is NOT a student and using this program for work or any way you earn more money than a student, buy the other version!!! :) ps, i have no relation at all to the author, I just find his/her generosity extremely respectful
  • hmmmm

So a guide for this app? Seems useful, especially since medical terminology can only get you so far. Whoever thought of naming medical conditions after people is insane, students have no choice but to look them up or recognise them. Atleast with other medical terms you can break them down to find out what they mean
