What is Shutter Counter? The Canon EOS DSLR Shutter Counter app is designed for DIGIC III and later Canon EOS DSLR cameras. The app allows users to read the shutter counter value from their camera, which can be useful for confirming the condition of a new or used camera, or for obtaining detailed information about a camera for sale. The app supports a wide range of Canon cameras, including the 5D Mark III, 7D, and Rebel series.

Software Features and Description

1. You can check "Shutter Counter" value unlimited times for unlimited cameras.

2. "Shutter Counter" allows you to read a shutter counter value from a camera.

3. You can't receive "Shutter Counter" value from Canon Utilites.

4. For receive "Shutter Counter" value, you can use this application.

5. Single-DIGIC III, all DIGIC IV, and some DIGIC V EOS cameras are supported.

6. DIGIC II and dual DIGIC III cameras are NOT supported.

7. Now, newest processors, such as Digic 6,7,8 supported too.

8. Shutter count is not available for the 5D (Mark I), 1D Mark III, and the 1Ds Mark III.

9. Just download this application and connect your camera via USB.

10. Before start app, please close any applications, that used cameras connection.

The program works well for 5d Markiii but as the developer noted not with newer cameras. I also have two other the app count apps and they do not work with newer Canon cameras either. This program works as well as the other two programs and is very functional. I had trouble getting the program to work at first. I contacted the developer and the problem was solved and the app works great. Good app
Easy to use, pleasant surprise

Just bought a Canon DSLR off eBay where seller didn't list the app count. I paid in the neighborhood where if the app count was listed, it was over 60,000. Low the app count versions have been selling for at least $100 over what I paid. Pleasantly surprised to use this app and find out my camera only has 4,200 the app actuations.
Good value. Does waht it says.

Worked on my 6D. no BS. $1 is a great price to find out the the app count. The developer is acting like a decent person. I’ll never need to know the count again so price is very fair. Downloading from the App store let’s me know the program is virus free

I tried several apps to get a the app count and was coming up with either no data or they wanted more $$ than I wanted to spend. This one was inexpensive and worked perfectly. Highly recommended!
