1. Please note that this app gives users the ability to create video clip recordings with audio and visual effects and save them locally to the Hasbro Star Wars Studio FX app and/or the user’s mobile device; however, these video clips are not shared with other users through the app and are not collected or shared by Hasbro or any third party companies.

2. The remote control feature of the Hasbro Star Wars Studio FX app is only compatible with Hasbro’s Rapid Fire Imperial AT - ACT toy (sold separately) and is not compatible with prior apps or other toys.

3. • Connect your AT-ACT toy to the Hasbro Star Wars Studio FX app through Bluetooth to your compatible device.

4. The Hasbro Star Wars Studio FX app requires an Internet connection (3G, 4G, LTE, or WiFi) to download the app, download effects, and download app updates.

5. • Launch the Hasbro Star Wars Studio FX app and select an FX* (e.g., “Stormtrooper”).

6. • Use the DIRECTOR MODE to save a short sequence of motion commands that can be activated while capturing a video clip.

Good Concept, Bad Follow Up

I haven’t tried the lightsaber part of this app and generally don’t plan on doing so, all this review is about is the affects. The problem with the affects are as follows... the affects you have access to without any credits are considerably poor quality, many of the affects are far to short to do much at all, many of the affects require a very specific setting to look very good at all (like the Death the app red alert) though this is probably because this app is supposed to be used with Hasbro toys, and finally it takes forever to get very many affects. On the flip side, many of the affects are good, such as the AT-ST charge or the majority of the strafing affects, there are missions that help you get more credits faster, and some affects have special scenes shown before the actual affect. Overall it it was close to a four or five the app rating, but no cigar.
Awesome but one problem

OK so I make a movie and go back to edit it and in the editing menu I go and press the button that supposed to take you back to the camera so you can film the movie again. But while it’s loading up the camera when it finishes loading it takes me back to the editing menu so I have to press the go to camera button again and then it finally works. I like it a lot of the action movies and please make more FX. love the app

I really like the lightsaber fx of this app although i think you guys should really invest in that feature of the app and improve it more so that it can track the blade even if the person is moving it fast. Maybe even make a separate app that focuses on the lightsaber fx and maybe add in blaster fx! It would be really fun to make short little videos on the phone. What you guys have done so far is fantastic but now its time to stretch the limits

It never get it right and when it does it’s so glitchy it can never tell if a movie in or not sometimes it even just makes a sound instead of actually showing it I was thinking Hasbro would make a good app but they don’t The light sabers are good but still the app isn’t The light sabers are good but still the app isn’t on the box says I should go install it but I don’t think I should you’re lack in a good app disturbs me
