Something is pretty screwed up with this app at a very fundamental. When you launch the account for the first time, the app prompts you to log into a user account or, if you are like me and do not have a user account, it walks you through the steps of creating one. To do this, you must put in your first and last names, mobile number, email address and a password — all simple enough. Except, when I try to submit this application the app generated and error message and tells me that I have entered an invalid mobile number. When I go back to edit the number (even though I see that it is correct) the app notifies me that the mobile number must begin with a 6, 7, 8 or 9 in order to be valid. Well, my mobile number starts with a 7. And, as stated above, I am entering it correctly (including the “7” at the beginning). So, like I said, it is pretty screwed up in some fundamental way. The problem might be that I am using a Czech cell phone number, but I downloaded this app from the US iTunes Store (I am a US expat living in the Czech Republic. But I don’t know any Czech and so cannot navigate the Czech iTunes Store very easily.). Still, I have never heard of a requirement that a US cell phone number must start with a 6, 7, 8 or 9. So, again like I said, something is clearly screwed up at a very fundamental way. I would be happy to try the app again, and even consider recommending it, once this basic problem is resolved. In the meantime, I have no choice but to give it a big thumbs down. How could I possibly recommend an app that will not even let me start to use it?
