Software Features and Description

1. On the Main Page, tap a photo thumbnail to view in the Image Page a larger image accompanied by a description and a button to download the jpeg.

2. This app allows you to view and search a collection of photos of the American Civil War, 1861 - 1865, at the Library of Congress and in the public domain.

3. The images are from the original glass plate negatives made under the supervision of Mathew Brady and Alexander Gardner plus additional sources according to the Library of Congress.

4. While viewing the image if you tap the Send Button, you will be able to share the photo via email.

5. To view a slide show (manual, not automatic) while on the main page, simply tap the 'Slides' button.

6. While viewing the slide show, you, again, may save the image or share the image via email.

7. It is a wonderful collection and a window on times past.

Using Civil War Photos on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Civil War Photos"
The search will reveal the Civil War Photos app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Civil War Photos is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Civil War Photos.
Now enjoy Civil War Photos on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Civil War Photos,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Civil War Photos" » then Click "Install".
- Civil War Photos will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
