1. It’s five year mission is to construct the largest and most precise 3D map of our galaxy, the Milky Way, this will contain over 1 billion astronomical objects, mainly stars but also planets, comets, asteroids and quasars among others.

2. The Gaia Alerts project finds objects which change, appear, or disappear in the data sent from the Gaia satellite, and announces them to the world in real time.

3. The spacecraft will monitor each of its target stars about 70 times over the course of the mission in order to measure the precise motion of each star.

Install Gaia Alerts app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Gaia Alerts on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Gaia Alerts"
The search will reveal the Gaia Alerts app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Gaia Alerts is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Gaia Alerts.
Now enjoy Gaia Alerts on PC.
