Software Features and Description

1. "If, in some cataclysm, all of scientific knowledge were to be destroyed, and only one sentence passed on to the next generations of creatures, what statement would contain the most information in the fewest words? I believe it is the fact that all things are made of atoms — little particles that move around in perpetual motion.

2. Just give an iPad to a child to play, and he or she will never forget how particles behave at different temperatures, what sound is, how small particles are, etc.

3. Now you can access all the colourful interactive learning scenes without having to play the whole game from start to end.

4. With this new version of "Hi Nano" teachers can use the app to explain certain scientific concepts to their students.

Top Pcmac Reviews

  • Fantastic and intuitive educational game

    By Treehuggingmonkey (Pcmac user)

At first some of the science themes aren't very obvious but you they start users learning about the powers of 10 (magnification) and what objects you can see at the millimeter, micrometer, and nanometer scale. You learn a bit about molecules, phase transitions at different temperatures, and much more! Pros: - great for young children who might not understand names or more complex concepts - fun and short Cons: - some of the concepts aren't too obvious, even as a scientist (post grad school) I had to think a bit to catch a concept - UFOs are fun but not very scientific Recommendations: 1. Having a label or description would be invaluable for connecting concept to future knowledge 2. It would be cool to have an info button where users could learn more about the concepts they are seeing Thanks for the great app!
