- Too many alerts, even after disabling them in the app

- Too many ads, which are annoying and disruptive

- Lack of world news coverage

- Stories about animal and human abuse may give criminals bad ideas

- New version of the app is not as user-friendly as the old version, making it difficult to find news stories specific to one's area.

I was looking for an email address to respond to story content, since I am not on social media. This app is very helpful, giving good news and weather coverage generally. I am concerned about two stories today re: kitten and puppy abuse. The point of such stories about animal and human abuse should be the punishment. Otherwise, the story just gives criminals bad ideas.
To many alerts

Down load the new app and started to get to many alerts! I even changed it to no alerts " unchecked the green slide" in the app and I still receive them. Every time I remove the receive alerts it puts me back in the green to receive them! Way to many ads, from the time you open the app tell the time you close the app. What happen to the world news? Plus Facebook is the thing of the past, stop trying to get us to like you on it. I don't know anyone who uses FB anymore.

Great news and I enjoy keeping up with the latest in breaking news via the notifications. I find the ads very annoying. Almost like you’re trying to play a “Free Game” on the AppStore such as CandyCrush where you have to watch an ad to proceed. I’m sure you get lots of funding locally and have sales teams that could incorporate local business into a softer ad approach. Thanks for your consideration. This ap might get deleted soon from my phone should this not change.

I’m so very disappointed with this app, the old one was far better. In the old version, you could set it to get news just for your area and not have to run through the entire thing to read the news stories you want. Now it’s all mixed in, so you have to scan each headline to find stories that pertain to your area. I know they can do better, because the old one was better. Need a new app designer imo.
