What is Dungeon Survival?

Black Haze is a turn-based RPG game set in the border town of Black Haze, known for its rich mineral deposits. The game features randomly generated cave levels, hundreds of monsters to defeat, equipment to collect, quests and achievements to conquer, and an abundant new world to explore. The player takes on the role of Royde, chosen by the king to bring balance back to Black Haze and investigate the strange reports that have come from the city. The game offers 9 classes, each with unique skills, and intricate turn-based combat that lets the player become the master of the battlefield.

- Easier to understand than the original game, with less annoying aspects

- Interface works well and is enjoyable to play

I’ve seen people call this “pirate ware” for being a direct clone of Darkest the app on mobile... and you know what? It is. It is a great mobile port of a fantastic game that’s only available on PC or the iPad. There is a small window to pay to win, but it’s honestly not worth it as long as you watch a ten second ad after every the app. The combat is hard and gritty, the survival aspect is punishing and requires constant churn of your characters, the story + setting are dark... it really is a clone of Darkest the app. If Red Hook had put this out instead of another studio, you wouldn’t have known. Makes me wonder why Red Hook only put DD out on iPad? Well worth the $0.99, hands down a great purchase.
Deepest what?

Ok so they borrowed the art style. But for all its worth, Deepest the app is ipad only for some reason. Not only that thia game took out most of the annoying aspects of deepest the app. Making it easier to understand. The the app navigation the heroes, and tame some of the annoying traits of DD. Some may say that, those annoyances are what makes Deepest the app great but for me naah... i want to enjoy my daily breaks without frustration. If you enjoy the challenge and having to devote longer amount of time then go ahead buy DD the original. Thats why ita ipad only i suppose. But for the rest of the people, till they make a “Deepest the app Lite Mobile” this is the only thing close to the original.

This is a sibling of Darkest the app, but to me done better. I've played many hours of Darkest the app on PC and enjoyed it, but was leery of buying it for my IPad based on interface issues I've read about. Interface for this game works well. Game itself is very fun and challenging like DD. Feels a bit more enjoyable actually. I've had to bury many of my characters and move on, but there a few I've enjoyed keeping alive and fighting. Need to grind levels a bit to move forward, but progress is possible and rewarding. I recommend this game as a definite buy and a great value. Try it for yourself.
So far, so fun!

I’ve only been playing for a couple of adventures, but so far this game has not disappointed. The fights are challenging, the rewards are great, and the graphics are dark and moody. Too early to give this 5 stars, but I’ll update my rating when I find out how necessary the in-game purchase offers are. A quibble or two: I noticed a lot of typos in the Lord’s Letters (especially the 2nd one), and that was distracting. Also, there should be a way for priests and paladins to heal characters outside of battle, but I can’t find it. Is that intentional? I’ve never played Darkest the app so I can’t compare, but from what I’ve seen so far I’d highly recommend this game to anyone looking for an enjoyable the app-delving experience.
