What is Arccos Driver? The Arccos Driver app is a performance tracking and live competition system that works with the Arccos Driver sensor. It conforms to the Rules of Golf and can be used in Stipulated Rounds when a local rule permitting the use of distance-measuring devices is in effect. The app delivers real-time data for tee shot distances, fairways hit, and more, without the need for tagging or other disruptions.

Software Features and Description

1. The Arccos Driver app can now be used in Stipulated Rounds when a local rule permitting the use of distance-measuring devices is in effect, so long as a golfer does not review data from a hole previously played during that round.

2. The Arccos Driver performance tracking and live competition system delivers real-time data for tee shot distances, fairways hit and more.

3. To start using the system, players simply attach the ultralight Arccos Driver sensor to the grip end of any driving club.

4. Arccos Driver uses the iPhone's background location capabilities to determine shot locations when in a round.

5. Based on the "Rules Changes for 2016" published on December 13, 2015 and available at the Arccos Driver app conforms to the Rules of Golf.

6. The Arccos Driver sensor runs on a standard watch battery (CR2032).

7. For the Arccos Driver app to work properly, users must keep their smartphone in a front pocket throughout their round.

8. This is then paired just once to an iPhone using the free Arccos Driver app.

9. The Arccos Driver app works with the Arccos Driver sensor.

10. This lasts up to 50 rounds, with charge level monitored via a battery indicator in the Arccos app.

11. The single-sensor platform achieves this by automatically detecting each drive and recording second shot position without the need for tagging or other annoying disruptions.

I started out loving this app. I used it for several rounds and loved the distance function of the app. But recently it started crashing and I have to reconnect every hole. Even when I download the course it will crash and force me to restart. Not sure what happened but when the app started really pushing their new Caddie app, mine stopped working. I thought about buying the Caddie app, but now that the driver app doesn’t work, there is no way I would spend my money on the Caddie app

The app and the tools for the most part are great with one exception. When I try to view “bests” or attempt to share a round, the app freezes and closes itself...every time. This alone will be the reason I forgo purchasing the the app 360 package. Please address the issues that others and myself are encountering.
