Good to have
By Scott-in-MN (Pcmac user)
Fortunately I haven’t had to use the app, but it gives me comfort to know I have it for emergencies when off the beaten path. I’m out mountain biking alone enough that I might need it for myself or another rider to direct emergency crews to the rescue.

No glasses required! Bold, simple, quick and easy. Great application for SAR, use in conjunction with your gps, map and compass to relay your location or plot where you are on your map.

Great App
By Cx’ing Agent (Pcmac user)
This isn't a "navigation" app, but an elegantly simple tool allowing you to precisely determine your location; so as to be able to place yourself on a UTM (MGRS/the app) gridded map, ...
... or more importantly to tell others your precise location( e.g. emergency personnel).
Simple to launch, simple to read.
No "navigation" skills or mapping coordinate knowledge is necessary.
The large, clear, easy to read text is perfect for stressful situations.
Should be on every phone.
