Software Features and Description

1. You can select to either show the entire screen, or just a single window of any application, which is alpha keyed to easily composite on your NDI equipped vision mixer, for example NewTek TriCaster with NDI support.

2. Note: Turn on the "Auto Refresh" checkbox to track window changes live - for example when taking an app fullscreen or starting a powerpoint presentation.

3. The NDI stream is very high quality, Selectable as 1280x720, 1920x1080 full HD or scaled to the window size, and runs at full frame rate for smooth display.

4. Visit the support site at for instructions on setting up your system sound to allow broadcasting of your computer's sound output (rather than a sound input device).

5. NDI ScanConverter broadcasts your Mac's desktop or application windows over IP Video using the NDI protocol.

6. You can also select a cropped Region of Interest portion of the screen to send over NDI.

7. Audio is also supported.

Install NDI ScanConverter app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using NDI ScanConverter on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "NDI ScanConverter"
The search will reveal the NDI ScanConverter app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once NDI ScanConverter is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including NDI ScanConverter.
Now enjoy NDI ScanConverter on PC.

I bought this application for $44 and it worked one time. I contacted NEWTEK and was told they don’t provide support for Macs. So why is this being sold in the APP store and how do I get somebody to help me fix the constant crashing this app is doing?

I am using two NewTek Tricasters…a 460 and a Mini HD 4SDI, and otherwise work exclusively with MacBooks, so need an the app method of making my laptop screen images available as the app sources in the Tricasters. This app is recommended by NewTek. When I first encountered a problem with sizing of my macbook screen images in the Tricasters, I contacted Mark Gilbert for support, and he was extremely helpful and patient. Problem is solved and macbook screen images working well in my Tricasters— thanks very much Mark and Sienna for your help and a great product.
