Software Features and Description

1. A linear or logarithmic polar plot shows the microphone's sensitivity for all directions.

2. Mic Polar illustrates the directionality of all basic microphone types, in an interactive diagram.

3. Precise levels for certain angles can be found by touching the polar plot.

4. This includes all traditional microphone types such as cardioid and hyper cardioid.

5. It does not include microphone with additional acoustic features, such as shotgun microphones.

6. A linear plot shows the transfer function.

7. Mic Polar supports omnidirectional and figure of eight, and anything in between.

Install Mic Polar app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Mic Polar on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Mic Polar"
The search will reveal the Mic Polar app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Mic Polar is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Mic Polar.
Now enjoy Mic Polar on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Mic Polar Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Mic Polar,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Mic Polar" » then Click "Install".
- Mic Polar will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
