1. A linear or logarithmic polar plot shows the microphone's sensitivity for all directions.

2. Mic Polar illustrates the directionality of all basic microphone types, in an interactive diagram.

3. Precise levels for certain angles can be found by touching the polar plot.

4. This includes all traditional microphone types such as cardioid and hyper cardioid.

5. It does not include microphone with additional acoustic features, such as shotgun microphones.

6. A linear plot shows the transfer function.
