3. 오랜 역사에 걸맞게 규모도 방대하여 5,800여명에 이르는 회원이 활동하고 있으며, 개인회원뿐 아니라 국책연구기관과 지방연구원, 대학의 도시계획 관련 학과가 기관회원으로 가입되어 있습니다.

4. 대한국토·도시계획학회는 한국전쟁후 국가재건사업부터 시작하여 우리나라의 경제개발을 뒷받침하기 위한 고속도로 건설, 상업단지 조성 등 국토건설에 앞장서 왔습니다.

5. 전국적으로는 강원, 대전, 세종, 충청, 전북, 광주·전남, 대구·경북, 부산·울산·경남, 제주의 7개 지회가 있습니다.
