2. An activity feed provides relevant account activity as well as keeps you informed about movies and series your friends have watched or want to watch, their ratings, comments and likes.

3. With built-in machine learning and AI, explore a new truly personal Must Match movie rating system, based on ratings of other users with exactly the same taste as you.

4. Start your experience by creating and managing two movie lists: the movies you’ve watched and the movies you want to watch.

5. Connect with friends and other movie buffs outside of the app, with a public profile link (mustapp.com/@username), which you can share with them on social media.

6. Your personal profile summarizes your watching activity, provides you with a social rank within Must and equips you with cool insights on your favorite actors and filmmakers, among other stats.

7. Watch the latest trailers or get inspired with a movie suggestion by checking film collections curated by Must editors.

8. When a movie is marked “watched”, you can rate it, write a short review of it and share it with friends.

9. All movies and series available on Apple iTunes offer a direct link for your convenience.

10. Direct linking is also enabled for any specific movie or series you’d like to recommend.

Great execution

this app is an all-around great app in terms of usability and design. The user interface, which resembles the official iOS theme is great. I’ve been using Letterboxd, which is a similar film logging app but I’d consider switching over. I like how the poster art is really clean and up to date. The ability to see what episodes are available for a series and rate a specific season is a really nice addition and shows attention to detail. While I love the app in its current state, there’s still some things that could use improvement. Different views would be a nice addition. I appreciate that it focuses on the poster art, but I like being able to see all the films I’ve watched and seeing only two horizontally seems like poor design. A dark mode would be nice but not a priority. Being able to import films from a CSV file would be ideal for users like me who have used other film logging apps but I understand it’s not a feature that most users would need. The share pop-up after logging a film is kind of annoying and I wish there was an option to turn it off. Overall, the app is almost perfect and it’s only been out for such a short time. I look forward to new features and improvements in the upcoming months.

Usually, most apps on the App Store™️ are well designed and beautiful. This one, however, is one of the developments of the App Store that stand out. From the different panels and tabs that display pull handles, the transitions and animations of content being displayed, to the overall layout of the application. Very pleasing to use. Polished and premium feeling. Would love to see if you guys are going to incorporate some of Apple’s Taptic Engine feedback for added experience. However, this design is really really impressive. Very minimalistic and modern. Great work on the design. Like wow! It’s a pretty app!

Would love if they added an option to sort movies you’ve watched by the rating you’ve given them. Other than that a great app Edit: updated from 4 to 5. The sorting option, when implemented, will make this a this app have

Some suggestions for improvement: When viewing movie details, scrolling to the top too quickly will close the window. I’m sure this is intentional, but I frequently accidentally close windows. I understand if this is out of your control, but occasionally database information is inaccurate (e.g. The release date of Citizen Kane is not 2017). I love the cover-art-focused design, but a list view option with more details would be very helpful. I would love to scroll through my list and quickly see titles, release years, and genres. This app is very fluid and smooth, but animations could be a little quicker. Also, the process of marking a movie as “watched” could be simpler. I wish I could do this in just one tap. Lastly, a dark theme option would be awesome. Since MustApp is about discovering and keeping track of movies, I’d be willing to bet that this app is often used in dark rooms in the evening. Not only would a dark theme be easier on the eyes, but it would be fitting for the purpose of the app.
