Software Features and Description

1. Entwickelt wurde das eChemBook von dem Institut für Didaktik der Naturwissenschaften der Leibniz Universität Hannover, dem Leibniz-Institut für Wissensmedien in Tübingen, dem Schroedel-Westermann Verlag und SMART Technologies.

2. Das digitale Chemieschulbuch eChemBook ist ein Prototyp eines elektronischen Schulbuchs und kann vergleichbar einem traditionellen Schulbuch im Unterricht eingesetzt werden.

3. eChemBook ist im Rahmen eines von der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG) geförderten Transferprojektes entstanden.

4. Für die Aufgaben des E-Books wird "SMART Notebook App for iPad" benötigt.

5. Diese App wurde für Studienzwecke entwickelt.

6. Es enthält bisher die Themen „Teilchenmodell" und "Atommodell von Dalton“.

Install eChemBook app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using eChemBook on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "eChemBook"
The search will reveal the eChemBook app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once eChemBook is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including eChemBook.
Now enjoy eChemBook on PC.
