What is myBioness?

The myBioness™ mobile application is designed to work with the L300 Go® Functional Electrical Stimulation System. It is used to improve the mobility of individuals who have foot drop and/or knee instability due to an Upper Motor Neuron disease or injury. The app allows users to control the stimulation modes of all connected devices, set daily steps goals, and monitor their performance through the redesigned Activity graphing screens.

Software Features and Description

1. Also new to this version, the user can set a daily steps goal and monitor their performance through the redesigned Activity graphing screens, which still allow for sorting step data (and now distance data) into weeks, months, and years.

2. L300 Go is used to improve the mobility of individuals challenged by foot drop and/or knee instability which may occur after an Upper Motor Neuron disease or injury.

3. With Version 2.0, the user will now have control over the stimulation modes of all connected devices, as well as the stimulation level, audio and vibration feedback.

4. The myBioness™ mobile application is used in conjunction with the L300 Go® Functional Electrical Stimulation System.

5. *Please note that an L300 device is required to utilize and operate the myBioness application.

6. This is a helpful tool that supports personal goal setting, an important component of the rehabilitation process.

7. Connected devices can be controlled individually, or all together through use of the Universal Controls.

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:

Using myBioness on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "myBioness"
The search will reveal the myBioness app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once myBioness is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including myBioness.
Now enjoy myBioness on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

Good app. Could be better

Add the ability to change from double tap to single tap. This will give more flexibility to us that have MS related hand dexterity issues. For gate mode, add the ability to resume session at the last level that was set. For example, if I set the level to 6 and then I turn gate mode off it should go back to 6 when I turn gate mode back on. It shouldn’t go back to the default level. That should only happen when I first turn the device or app on.

The “manual” mode does not specify the intensity it outputs. intensity can only b adjusted in exercise and gait mode. To me “manual” means it’s on when u press the button, not constant meaning u double press and it stays on. The fact that you can’t adjust the intensity before the modes are turned on is absurd. Please fix these issues and you should be able to adjust ALL the settings including the clinician adjustable ones. It’s taken almost a year and more than 5 visits (traveling far distances is not easy for an MS patient) with the clinician and the settings still are not satisfactory/correct. I OWN these devices, paid a lot of money, I demand the ability to change my settings on my devices. The fact the app is NOT free is absurd as well. Make this right Bioness!

Works fairly we’ll but in my experience it does not update very well at all. It will go a week or more before it updates totals then suddenly it will happen. This latest stretch of time it’s been about 2 months and still not updated!
Lacks basic features

Can’t reset the initial intensity so it’s set to where I need it each time I turn it on. This is a major oversight by the app developer. There is no “pause” button. Many times a day I would like to have it “inactive” for several minutes. To do this I have to turn it off and when I turn it back on I have to readjust the intensity on both legs. A very poorly thought out design. An insignificant issue is having symbols on the control page that are not defined anywhere. I spent a lot of time on the Internet trying to find documentation and it does not seem to exist.
