What is Hans Wehr?

Arabic Almanac is a digital version of the Hans Wehr dictionary that helps students of the Arabic language to search for words using the root letter of the word. The app is designed to replace the need for carrying around a bulky dictionary and provide the convenience of a smartphone. Search function stops working once updated to iOS 13

Search function in all almanacs, this app, Quranic, Lane, etc. stops working once iOS 13 is installed. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, still doesn’t work. Could this be fixed?
