  • Good Potential But Needs a Few Tweaks

    By Humapp (Pcmac user)

Response to Developer: Yes, I think I would be willing to review/give feedback on updates to this app. The custom calories component is relatively easy to find. I think it would be helpful, however, to be able to select a formula and rate and then see the resulting calories, protein, and free water, instead of just the calories. Thanks! Update: I think the best way to maximize the usefulness of the tube feeding part of the app would be to add “custom protein” as an option along with the “custom calories.” Previous Post: This app has excellent potential. As a clinician, this app would be much more helpful if the user could enter a tube feed formula and goal rate to see how many calories, grams of protein, and mL of free water would be provided at that rate. Right now only the tube feed formula, duration, and goal calories can be entered to result in a recommended rate. The user is unable to determine how much protein or free water that rate provides. Good work so far—this app concept is very much needed in the the app world.
  • Calculations aren’t perfect

    By AshreeCA (Pcmac user)

When I do a test calculation using feet and inches in the Penn State Equation section, it significantly overestimates and miscalculates the result. It works fine if I use height in cm. The formulas in this app seem off.
