1. Note that the Dropbox or Google Drive app must be installed and iCloud must be configured in your device Settings first.

2. Select the file and choose "Open in MIDI Opener" or "Open in...", then select MIDI Opener from the list of apps.

3. Tap the folder icon to browse files in iCloud, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.

4. Tap the Safari browser button in the app or go to for a list of popular MIDI sites.

5. After installing the app you will be able to open files downloaded from the web.

Using MIDI Opener on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MIDI Opener"
The search will reveal the MIDI Opener app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once MIDI Opener is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including MIDI Opener.
Now enjoy MIDI Opener on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use MIDI Opener,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "MIDI Opener" » then Click "Install".
- MIDI Opener will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Awesome

I very much enjoyed this app. It is one of the few free the app applications, and it opens my files very well. The sound font to built in to the application actually does not sound too bad, when comparing it to the one built into my windows PC. I dream feature would either be trans pose the sound, or load a custom sound font, but like I said, it’s a dream feature. It’s free, and it does everything a free app should do. I especially like how closely integrated it is with the system, being able to play midis in the background.

This app has the potential to be amazing It works perfectly other than ONE problem Some midis don't sound like they're supposed to, don't know why, but this app should be more well known.
If only it had tempo control
