What is Pioneer ARC?

The Pioneer ARC app is a remote control app that allows you to control and customize your compatible Pioneer car stereo using your iPhone. The app lets you browse your favorite music, switch sources, launch 3rd party apps, customize the illumination colors and audio settings of your Pioneer system. The app is compatible with iPhone 5/5c/5s/6/6 Plus/6s/6s Plus/SE/7/7 Plus/8/8 Plus/X, running iOS 8.0 and above. Compatible features vary by model.

Install Pioneer ARC app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Pioneer ARC on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Pioneer ARC"
The search will reveal the Pioneer ARC app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Pioneer ARC is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Pioneer ARC.

Decent, needs iPad version (updated)

The app is decent overall once you find the instructions on how to operate it on iPhone. I would actually like to see an iPad version come out. I'm trying to run the iPhone version on my iPad and the volume doesn't work, I can't search through the music on my iPad and I can't switch sources. I'm in the middle of changing my dash over to have an iPad as my UI. I sure would love to have access to all sources and system settings through my iPad instead of holding the remote. And since I plan on hiding the radio I don't know how well the remote will work for me (August 18th, 2017) Due to the recent update to the ARC app, I decided to give this app another try on my iPad. Every function works the way it should now. The only downside is that it still doesn't fill the entire screen, but with access to change source, volume and everything else it supposed to do, I'm a little bit happier.
Add missing features

Overall is great but is missing some options that would make is perfect. A decent size Clock showing the current time would be great. I use a iPad mini for my radio screen built into my dash. (Checkout The IPad Guy on Facebook for pictures) next seek up/down on radio/XM station, and ability to set them on presets. The other previous mentioned is volume level. The volume level and clock should be optional to be displayed or not. The adjustable color on the display would be great. Lastly the ability to pick up/hang up calls, and a dial pad controls when a phone is paired to the head unit. Overall great app but needs some work, functions great otherwise.
Please show what the volume is set at!!!!

The app works pretty well overall. There is a glaring omission in that you can’t *see* what the volume level is set at from within the app. You can change the volume, you just can’t see its value. That’s the biggest missing feature in the way of making this a fantastic “hidden” head unit solution. (mine is mounted in the trunk, on my amp rack) Please show me the volume level!!!!!

Just installed the deh-s5000bt in my 02 z71 custom truck as a replacement head unit for a custom the app amp and sub setup. Install was easy, repin connector and install. Works perfect with i8. Full control of everything, never need to touch head unit. This app is good, I can do everything from my phone, that I can do with head unit controls and with a better display. Hats off the app!
