  • Dreadful Downgrade

    By TheSadFish (Pcmac user)

I use the computer application as a tool for the CyberPatriot competitions, so I decided to download the app for some practice away from my computer. I didn’t realize how absolutely awful it would be. The screen was constantly way too zoomed in, the UI was very hard to navigate, and there are a lot of missing features. After about ten minutes I finally found all of the stuff to set up my required PCs for my project, then it wouldn’t let me connect anything because the interface was so huge, that it gave the work field a quarter of my screen, where it needed about half of it to even be able to connect the two computers at a distance where you can tell which is which. I would just recommend getting the desktop app if you can, because of how much more comprehensive the desktop one is.
  • I just did my last minute homework!

    By MyTurnBecauseMyNameIsMia (Pcmac user)

I didn’t have my hopes up for this app since mobile versions of these kinds of things aren’t the greatest. I left my hard drive back at home during spring break and I had an assignment due tonight. Naturally, I’d download Packet Tracer onto my school computer, but had issues with the disk and didn’t have time to figure it out or wait until after my work shift to redo the assignment (I get off at 11PM and the assignment was due at 11:55PM). I was amazed at how I could still do the things I normally would need to do on desktop. This app is an emergency gem!
  • Great for the Field or Students

    By MisureJon (Pcmac user)

This is amazing, I have an iPad Pro and this is so great to have packet tracer for something like a mobile device. I don't have to carry my bulky laptop to class to design and learn more about building networks. And since I'm learning I can take this anywhere and last all day. I can even export my networks to cloud storage and access them from my PC in the desktop version! Amazing Job the app! Keep this app running strong. This helps all of us learn!
  • Necessary API upgrade to continue Dropbox support.

    By ComputerJunkie2013 (Pcmac user)

As of September 2017, Dropbox depreciated version 1 of their API. Packet Tracer needs to have that API updated or else it is almost totally useless unless if you have a Box account. Please update the API to version 2 to allow this handy mobile version of PacketTracer up and running. My PC, although within and above the specs to run the desktop version, struggles with it maximized. This app is a godsend although I have never used the mobile version until now.
