Dropzone makes your life easier

As a developer, app is on the list of my personal must-have apps. app is not only a drag & drop tool that performs generic tasks but a tool that allows you to program your own actions via Python or Ruby. This has made my life and several friends and colleagues' lives I recommended this app to a lot easier. app provides a throughout documentation that comes with plenty of examples that let even beginners create their own actions. Some actions I've programmed myself and use almost on a daily basis: * Drag & drop compressor for images: Compresses one or more images to internet-friendly formats. In my personal case, 1000px on the longest side, using ImageOptim and its compression algorithms to drastically reduce the file size while keeping most of the quality, and stripping the EXIF data for privacy reasons before uploading it to an anonymous image-sharing online service. * A click-action that displays a simple on-screen notification for various tasks. * A simple prompt that automatically generates a QR code from the input value. * A custom URL shortener. * A custom script to encrypt a file that has been dragged and dropped into App and then uploads it to my server via SFTP and encrypts it with GPG - all with one click. And many more useful, highly customized actions that make life a lot easier. And if that's not enough, the support is outstanding and immediate. Five stars are only fair. Thank you for this outstanding app!
