5. We retouch most photos with Lightroom, and if really needed, the finish touches in Photoshop.
6. For landscapes we use mainly the Canon 17-40 F4 and sometimes the Canon 24-70 2.8. When we shoot portraits we also use the Canon 70-200 F4, but mostly the 17-40.
7. Sometimes if the scene has a lot of contrast we will do several exposures and blend them using the layers in Photoshop.
8. We also use to do a lot of HDR using Photomatix, but we use this less and less as we can get a more natural pleasing result using just one raw file with Lightroom.
9. We shot a full series of photos for about 8 years in Paris where every shot would look like as it comes straight out of a movie.
10. Our workflow has really evolved from mostly Photoshop to 90% Lightroom and 10% Photoshop.
11. We shoot with a Canon 5D Mark 2, Canon 7D.

When we take a portrait we try to make it like a movie poster with the drama look. We shot a full series of photos for about 8 years in Paris where every shot would look like as it comes straight out of a movie. Some of my photos are heavily retouched, some not. What matters is the emotional impact, do people get something out of it or not? Our Tools We shoot with a Canon 5D Mark 2, Canon 7D. For landscapes we use mainly the Canon 17-40 F4 and sometimes the Canon 24-70 2.8. When we shoot portraits we also use the Canon 70-200 F4, but mostly the 17-40. Favorite Plugin company is Nik software, now Google. We also shoot a lot with the ND 1000 filter for long exposures effects.
