1. For students, cognitive neuroscientists, medical professionals and everyone interested in the brain, the program provides information about the anatomy and function of the human brain with various atlases describing and visualizing lobes, gyri, sulci, Brodmann areas, subcortical structures, selected specialized functional areas and major fiber tracts.

2. Brain Tutor 3D uses rendered head and brain models as well as fiber tracts that were created from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans of a study volunteer.

次世代の図鑑

このアプリを入れたのは相当前ですが、とにかく感動しました。スクリーンショットではいまいち分かりませんが、断面を軸に沿って連続的に動かすことができます。図鑑に載るような写真ではどうしても自分の好きな位置を指定することはできませんし、模型ではリアルさでどうしても見劣りしてしまう上に、そもそも高いのだろうと思います。その点、このアプリの「良いとこどり」の手法はiPhoneだからこそ出来ることだと思いますし、今後の図鑑の在り方を予見させるもののように思います。私自身門外漢なので持っていても仕方ないですが、いずれにせよ無料ですし言葉では伝え切れない凄さがあるので、入れて損ということはないと思います。色々な分野でこういうものが出ることを願います。

Great apps but some errors

This app is really great tool to study App. But looks to me some BA areas are indicated incorrectly in MRI e.g. BA38.

わかりやすく便利です。

脳葉、脳回、脳溝、ブロードマン領野がそれぞれ色付きで表示され、脳解剖がとてもよくわかります。スライス画像を指をスライドしていくとどんどん変化するのは楽しいです。次回のバージョンでは白質の線維も載せてください。

めちゃくちゃ便利！回、島、頭葉、BROCA野などがMRIで縦横上下全ての方向かつ3Dでみれる。脳外科、神経内科、精神科に必須アイテムです。まじで助かります！
