1. QuickTreat Estimator is an easy-to-use engineering tool to evaluate and estimate general operating or design parameters when utilizing one of the four common amines used in gas treating.
2. While simplified vapor-liquid-equilibrium data has been included for estimates of the maximum rich amine loading, the use of the app and the stated results of the calculations does not guarantee that the treated gas can or will meet any particular specifications.
3. Although the app is easy to use, a basic understanding of the fundamentals of gas treating with amine is required to make effective use of QuickTreat.
4. QuickTreat will calculate the required amine circulation rate or the rich amine acid gas loading.
5. Users not familiar with the performance characteristics of gas treating with amines should consult standard reference texts on the subject.
6. Please contact one of Huntsman's Gas Treating Team engineers for a confirmation system analysis.
7. The app can be used to model a common counter-current treating application involving CO2 and/or H2S.
8. Only a detailed evaluation utilizing a program such as Huntsman's Proprietary simulator can estimate such conditions.
