1. This application simulates the Xbar and S control charts, that are someof the tools of statistical quality control, or statistical process control (SPC).
2. For example, it is possible to see that the Xbar control chart detects sigma shifts too.
3. In addition, it measures the number of times that each control chart shows an out-of-control alarm.
4. It computes by simulation the ARL for different mean and sigma shifts.
5. Concretely, the shifts are measured by d = (m1 - m0) / sigma0 and by r = sigma1 / sigma0.
6. At this moment the application languages are Spanish and English.
7. There is a twin application for OS X available in its store.
