2. BMI On The Moon (or elsewhere in the Solar System) provides not only a quick way to measure your Body Mass Index (BMI) on the Earth but also gives you fun readings for other places in the Solar System.
3. This calculator reports a BMI reading based on an adult standing on the planet Earth and no action should be taken based on its values other than to consult a suitably qualified person such as a doctor.
4. As gravity varies on different bodies in the Solar System, so does your weight.
5. Have fun to see how your BMI changes as you stand on Venus compared with that on the Earth, or see how the Sun's gravity affects the index.
6. This means that in effect your BMI will vary as you stand on different planets, minor-planets and asteroids.
