1. The BMI reported on other planets is purely for entertainment purposes and has no medical basis as your body does not change in mass wherever it goes (although its weight does change in relation to local gravity) and your actual BMI would remain as it is on the Earth.

3. This calculator reports a BMI reading based on an adult standing on the planet Earth and no action should be taken based on its values other than to consult a suitably qualified person such as a doctor.

4. As gravity varies on different bodies in the Solar System, so does your weight.

5. Have fun to see how your BMI changes as you stand on Venus compared with that on the Earth, or see how the Sun's gravity affects the index.
