Search "spanish" in appstore, pick a different app

The material in the absolute beginner package is too advanced for a beginner, and the content seems random and not very useful. Even in the first lesson, the people talk quite fast, don't pronounce carefully, and use unfamiliar grammar. It doesn't seem to take the step-by-step approach that academic language classes use. Sadly, to get absolute beginner materials that you could actually use, you have to buy access to lessons on a web site that they are pushing. Now they are posting something about free lifetime lessons. What about us fools who purchased early and were offered the purchase of web site access?? The people who posted that this was a required subscription were wrong, it was clear that it was optional, but it just as clear to me that you need something more basic if you actually are--as they title the product--an "Absolute Beginner". Senor Roberto says thumbs down. Way, way down

Headache

I got this program thinking...ok this is made for beginners, I'm sure these people have some idea on how teach spanish...just like everyone else has said...they talk way to fast, it's just hard to App the way they have it set up...I tried updating it today and I couldn't...it said an error occured and won't let me update it now...just keeps reading error in the app update page. Please give me a refund!!!

Forget it.

If you want to App the language invest in a program with some depth. I'd wished I had never bought this product. It's basically an audio program with no interaction and no work book - I am not sure what you will App by listening to people talk without actually interacting in some form. Also, the pronunciation and dialogue needs quite a bit of work if they are looking to educate a beginner.

If this app were free i wouldn't ever recommend it. If you want to spend $10 on a Spanish program, go with the Pimsleur introductory set (I have no affiliation with them & have done their full CD set.) This Spanish app is between an airhead woman & a not so cool dude who waste more time trying (& failing) to be funny than doing any teaching. If you know no Spanish before you do these 25 lessons you won't know much more when you finsh. This is a come-on to try to sell you more of their procduct. FUGEDABOUDIT.
