I like the app for the most part. I would like to be able to mark assignments as completed before the due date.

Reponse to the Developer Response: I find it laughable that you now distinguish what is “handy” from what is “vital” to use the app. Yes, I, like many of your long-time iOS users, have been getting by with the “vital” features (and annoying bugs and interface issues) while you have focused your attention on numerous cosmetic updates, new apps for Apple Watch, etc. Now that you’re finally getting around to improving the app I purchased and paid to upgrade, you decide it’s time to start charging a subscription. That’s the problem here. This app has been lacking important features for years (like recurring assignments, which you seem to feel is not “vital,” but having been promising for nearly a decade!) while all your company does is keep dangling updates on the blog that are “planned” but never materialize. I hope everyone reading these reviews sees what kind of company this is before deciding to support them in paying a subscription fee. ——————- I have used App for quite some time in hopes that lacking features that they have promised on the blog for more than eight years would some day be added. I purchased the app on multiple platforms and paid for all the available add-ons over the years, including syncing, but now, due to the switch to their over-hyped “freemium” model, I am now left with all the things that come free for news users unless I want to pay a monthly subscription fee. No amount of bragging about what new users get for free is enough to make me—one of the users who paid for this app in its many (often bug-laden, defective) forms and, in doing so, helped to support its longevity—less annoyed by the fact that I cannot now add tasks to assignments without paying, not another one-time upgrade fee, but a perpetual subscription! (By the way, did anyone else notice that they have effectively cut off all but the most positve “user feedback” from their blog?) I can only imagine where the development priority will be placed from now on. (I’m guessing not to the so-called “free” version, right?) So much for abandoning your loyal customers, App. Looks like I’ll be migrating to MyHomework like so many others. May your new rip-off scheme fail miserably!!!

I love this app very very helpful but I really didn’t appreciate that I couldn’t sync between devices for free. You can use iCloud and not use your own servers which is FREE just not for the user but none the less it’s disappointing. It’s great app until you get to the sync.

This is a great app. Everyone needs it, THIS REVIEW IS ONLY FOR THE COMPANY. Other wise it’s great Dear devs, Your notifications are broken and causing me to no get my work done. This is when I set the notifications to Permanent and not temporary Also can you set the dark mode a light mode NOT based off the system and give the users the option to choose for that app. ALSO! Overdue assignments should carry over to the next day, and that next and the next until they are done. Thank you and everyone else USE THIS APP thank you

Super user friendly and effective planner. I only wish that assignments had the ability to assign subtasks with due dates (ex. Research papers - breaking it up by what all goes into that one assignment and assign “due dates” for each part as you go to help better organize bigger assignments like this)
