1. There is no need for the internet to view live data from planes, everything can be collected locally.

2. An internet connection is required to download initial map tiles if you wish to view planes on the moving map.

3. Connect to another computer running dump1090 over a local area network to watch the planes it sees.

4. Watch planes in real-time, save recordings, watch replays and share them with friends.

5. You can see the altitude and squawk (not position) of planes in the spotting list on the left of planes with Mode C only transponders.

6. Max Planes decodes the data from ADS-B transponders and plots the data on a map.

7. Connect a USB device and run a BEAST server (such as Dump1090 Mac Server) in order to view this data.

8. You can watch multiple data sources at once, save recordings as a file and rewatch them later.

9. Use a USB RTL-SDR or "DTV Tuner" to see nearby planes.

10. After they are cached no internet is required.

11. See things you otherwise can't with normal plane spotting apps.

Öffnen Sie nun die von Ihnen installierte Emulator-Anwendung und suchen Sie nach seiner Suchleiste. Sobald Sie es gefunden haben, tippen Sie ein Max Planes in der Suchleiste und drücken Sie Suchen. Klicke auf Max PlanesAnwendungs symbol. Ein Fenster von Max Planes im Play Store oder im App Store wird geöffnet und der Store wird in Ihrer Emulatoranwendung angezeigt. Drücken Sie nun die Schaltfläche Installieren und wie auf einem iPhone oder Android-Gerät wird Ihre Anwendung heruntergeladen. Jetzt sind wir alle fertig.
Sie sehen ein Symbol namens "Alle Apps".
Klicken Sie darauf und Sie gelangen auf eine Seite mit allen installierten Anwendungen.
Sie sollten das sehen Symbol. Klicken Sie darauf und starten Sie die Anwendung.

Works great with Linux receiver

It's great to have a native app for displaying ADS-B on the Mac! Just had to edit the dump1090 config file on my Linux receiver to enable the BEAST output port. I do wish the CPU usage was lower though.

Easy SImple

Man oh man have I been trying to find a way to use my SDR dongle to capture ADS-B and display it on a map. Apparently this was easy until 2016 when Google no longer allowed access to their maps via an interface unless you had , and paid for, an API. Of course I didn't find this out until AFTER I got my SDR. I have been tring for weeks to find a work around. I cam accross this today. It is so easy to use! Easy online instructions too. Can't wait for future updates and features! Good job on this!!!
