  • 5 star review

By Kenny H man (Pcmac user)

I love tower defense games. I’ve been looking for good ones all over the App Store but never found anything worth while. That was, until I found this one. There is a decent range of weapons, levels, and enemies. I am not super far into the game yet, but it is already my favorite tower defense on the App Store. There is no major story line, you just fight enemies off and it gets more difficult as you go on. All the levels have different layouts, enter points, and exit points so you can’t use your memory to your advantage. I have not played the multiplayer simply because you have to pay in-game currency. I would normally be fine with there being an enter fee but currency in this game is so scarce, you have to spend it on upgrades. The only reason that this gets 5 stars is because it is better than the rest. However, that is completely my opinion and you guys are free to think what you want. Thank you for reading and I hope this may have helped you. Great download.
  • Tons of fun, but buggy, not steampunk, and unclear playing rules

    By kcoco412 (Pcmac user)

I’ll start of by saying that I really do enjoy playing this game! It’s a lot fun and just challenging enough to want to keep playing. But the style is not the app; I can see where they attempted to incorporate a the app theme, but they didn’t quite get there. Also, am I missing something when it comes to gameplay? There isn’t a tutorial that I can refer to for level references. (For example, in some of the levels I lose hearts, but for the life of me I cannot figure out why because I am destroying every single enemy.) I tried to find an FAQ or tutorial to answer questions but could not. The game is also very buggy. If I play a level for more than 5 or so mins the app crashes. The app also crashes frequently at the end of a level when you are trying to double your rewards. All of the above cons are enough to frustrate me, make me stop playing, and give less stars for this review. If I could figure out how to get feedback on these things, I would.
  • Real Review

    By Sophia blood (Pcmac user)

I played this almost to the very end. This game is extremely easy and requires no effort. You do not need to spend money, in time you will unlock 4 hero’s and all towers and it doesn’t cost much to upgrade the towers and whether the hero’s fight or not they still get exp for leveling up. So I wondered why this game exists at all; is it for babies? Figured out it’s only function is to show you adds after levels. There are a whole lot of levels (more than average for a TD game) but all of them are easy as hell. Nothing really happens, after the first 20 or so levels the enemies remain the same, no bosses and the levels are also very short, majority is 7 small ways and it stays that way. So ya ENTIRE basis for this game are the unskipable adds, every level and even sometimes when you just leave a level because you want to get off the game. I lost probably twice and the only reason for that is because I didn’t bring air defense tower to a level that had choppers; so I started bringing them to all levels; turns out choppers and boats are in so few levels I could have done those levels later just to 3 star them. BOOOOOORING! Deleted.
  • Want to like it but issues..

    By D0gb3rt (Pcmac user)

I really want to like this game but it has a lot of pay wall issues. You get 4 tower slots for free with one more unlocked by watching a video each day and a 1$ for the last slot. The same goes with heroes. Unfortunately you can only obtain about 1/3 of the heroes via play the others are all 2$ pay walls each. The game is definately designed to be a grind but that’s just to pad content which isn’t really a crime just a way to keep you around. I do dislike the bate and switch with the ads. You can pay money to remove ads (which I did) I thought to remove frivolous ads but instead just reduces them in order to bottleneck you into ads that can’t be bypassed. I assume to playcate you hey give you currency for watching an add you didn’t want but I do feel it’s kind of shady why charge you to remove ads and then not remove ads.. I can’t in good conscience stick around for these practices.
