Use Roman lettering
By stolenmember (Pcmac user)
When translating from English to a language that does not use the standard alphabet letterings, don’t just translate to that non standard alphabet lettering.
For example: I want to translate a word like “diabetes” from English to the app. I input the word “diabetes” and up comes the the app kanji for diabetes, which I cannot read and pronounce if I cannot read it!
Include the the app word for “diabetes” written in the lettering that the person using the app. For example: I am imputing the word “diabetes” in English. Then add a phonetically correct the app translation of the word “diabetes” in standard alphabet lettering, along with what is already included. “Tonobyo” along with the kanji character.
If this option is already available, then where is it? Make it available or apparent so that I don’t write reviews like this one.

I've downloaded this app a while ago bc using Google translate was becoming very time consuming. So i got this app and let me tell you, it's amazing. It offers offline translations and will translate everything you give it. Ten outta ten.

If your trying to learn a language then hear you go, but if you just want something more accurate than google translate keep looking. I just want to find out how to say the words “silent princess” or “quiet princess” or even just the word “silent” (in the app) but no. It’s full on sentences! I don’t trust google translate, it’s stupid and not accurate, but at least with google you can get at least an idea of what your looking for. This seems more accurate but I’m not looking to write an article. Besides it’s to complicated to use anyways.

Great! Very helpful

The translation is fairly accurate all things considered. The only problem is the playback of the reading voice is extremely low. I have to turn it up quite a bit.... Then an ad will randomly pop on and blast through the speakers and scare me. Fix the playback volume and it's five stars from me.
