For both Chinese and English speaking user to learn Chinese Calligraphy this is one of the best app I have encountered. I am impressed the amount of data they collected and the fact that you can search in English is very thoughtful.

the app is an incredible, comprehensive and free app. It is easy to use, and allows Western calligraphers to find images (in 5 different scripts), for words they would like to brush. It has quickly become one of my favorite apps.
Great Reference

This is a great app to learn the proper placement of Chinese characters in a square grid, and it offers different style to choose from. Some characters has more styles than others. I also like the draw where I can practice the placement. This is not the app to practice brush calligraphy, unless the app can sense the pressure of our finger as a brush. It only allows searching one character at a time. It would be good to search multiple characters, like for a complete sentence, to save time.
