If you want to install and use the Polarr Photo Editor app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use Polarr Photo Editor for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: Polarr Photo Editor for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Polarr Photo Editor in the search bar and press Search. Click on Polarr Photo Editor application icon. A window of Polarr Photo Editor on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the Polarr Photo Editor icon. Click on it and start using the application.

I really appreciate the editing options, but could you add another feature to the already existing nose width/length. I hope that you add the option to straighten the bump in a nose bridge?
  • Expensive

You have to pay a ton of money to get overlays which are the only good part of the app to begin with

  • Used to love, but the new update messed everything up.

I’ve been using Polarr since late 2016, and for the most part it’s been pretty great, with a few bugs in between and issues with the quality, but the problems were fixed quite quickly. I purchased Polarr Pro’s selective adjustments in around 2017 and it worked fine, but recently with the new Polarr SO many new issues have risen. The first time I updated it to the new Polarr, it would not let me save any of my selective adjustments. Gradient, color masks, none of them would save. Sometimes it would crash, other times it wouldn’t even save as the filter I had filtered it as, but instead another filter I had previously made?? Recently, a few issues have been fixed but new problems have started. Everything including gradient and radial all work with my purchases but when I add the color scale to a color mask, it doesn’t save. The color mask is still there, but the actual color scale is zero. Please fix these issues, or bring back the old Polarr and work on the new one on the side. So many new issues that me and quite a few of my friends who have been using it for a long time are giving up on it.
  • GREAT App!!!

It feels like that I’m using a laptop and siting on the chair editing but all i do is using my phone editing with the polarr app that makes everything so easy !!!
  • Can you remove this. Real annoying

    By Ivy is cute :p
Wow so this app used to be really good until every 5 seconds it would have a pop up saying “try ____ tool now” there is no way around it like an “X” you can click the only option your given is to “try now” or “upgrade” but i don’t even need to use these tools. All I want to do is crop my photo and add a filter and save. I’m not sure if I will continue using this app if this is not taken away soon.
