Download and install the BigDish – Restaurant Discounts app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing BigDish:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.

Restaurants Didn’t Recognize the Reservation

I’ve been using this app for quite some time now. I love how the restaurants recognize and treat you as a this app customer, even actually reserving tables under your name.
Until two bad experiences happened recently that changed my perception of this amazing platform.
I’ve booked two separate reservations to El Chupacabra and Pura Vida for ‘Cinco de Mayo’—one at 6:00pm and another at 7:30pm. My colleagues, friends, and I showed up on time on both reservations. However, the two restaurants claimed they didn’t receive my reservations and therefore they wouldn’t give me a table and give the discount. I even insisted that I got both the confirmation e-mail and the SMS and that I have the codes.
The manager at El Chupacabra courteously still gave me a table and honored the discount. But, the people at Pura Vida messed it all up to the point that they didn’t honor the booked 50% off (gave a lower 30% instead) and even erroneously charged my credit card for horrendously huge amount. Now, I have to deal with the erroneous transaction with my card-issuing bank. Very exhausting and frustrating!
The cause of all these could be rooted from the lack of coordination of this app and their restaurant partners. After being contacted by this app’s customer support, there has been no mutually favorable resolution at this time.
One thing’s for sure—we won’t be using their platform anytime soon and won’t be recommending it to our network and others.
The low rating stays until a concrete resolution suffices. Sorry.
