Select Windows version:
- Windows 10
- Windows 11
Install Wake - WoL (Wake on LAN) tool app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Wake on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Wake"
- The search will reveal the Wake - WoL (Wake on LAN) tool app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Wake is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Wake.
- Now enjoy Wake on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Wake Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Wake,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Wake" » then Click "Install".
- Wake - WoL (Wake on LAN) tool will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Wasted time and money downloading a lot of other WoL apps that had been abandoned and no longer work with iOS 10.2 Save yourself the trouble and get this one! FYI Hostname is the IP address or dynamic dns not the subnet as the example aludes to.

I don't know how they did it, but I was unable to get any other app to work with my router. I honestly thought my router did not support this app-on-lan because I couldn't find any option to enable a subnet broadcast address. However I discovered this app which somehow magically gets it to work. If the developer is reading this; I would like to know the secret to this app because it legitimately might use black magic or just be the only competent WOL app out there.
