Install Hero K12 app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:

Using Hero K12 on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Hero K12"
The search will reveal the Hero K12 app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Hero K12 is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Hero K12.
Now enjoy Hero K12 on PC.

What a sorry for an excuse of an app. I can't believe my school paid for them and then they promoted this lame companion app. As a teacher I should be able to quickly scan a barcode, image, or name and give them positive reinforcements. Instead, I am left to search for their names or ID number. This is precious time that I do not need to be looking at my phone or tablet! It should be simple and fast. Compared to their online website, this app is lacking in nearly every useful information. Seriously, who at this company does the QA check? It must be a 4 year old cause that is sure what it looks like.

This app makes giving the app points very cumbersome. Teachers have to award points individually and it is time consuming because you have to keep going from one screen to another. I wish there was a way for the app to allow for multiple students to receive points in one sitting. For example if I wanted to give points to all the students who remembered their reading book, I could walk around and scan their ID cards quickly and then hit submit. So...that’s why it’s a bit difficult to get teacher buy in on this program.

My school has been using the app for three years now and it has helped us tremendously. We are able to track tardies, inappropriate behaviors, but most importantly, positive behaviors that our students are showing. We also have a the app store where students can redeem their points for prizes like free dress stickers, or pizza Friday’s!
Accessible but sometimes clunky

This app is great for traveling around the school or field trips. Otherwise, I opt to keep a clipboard with student reward points and enter later because it can be time consuming. It’s not as streamline as the computer interface but it still works and my students love to see when I have the app out.
