Install MiCollab for Mobile app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "MiCollab"
The search will reveal the MiCollab for Mobile app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once MiCollab is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including MiCollab.

- Search corporate contacts, see who is available, and choose how to contact them using voice, IM, point-to-point video, or email

- Receive, place, and hand-off voice calls to/from the MiCollab Mobile client SIP Softphone over Wi-Fi® or 4G/5G networks

- View incoming, outgoing, and missed call history for your office extension

- Access visual voicemail for your office extension and manage messages by preference rather than by sequence

- Manage and automatically update your status and call-routing preferences based on your location or time of day.

- The app allows you to answer your desk phone on your mobile.

- The visual design of the new version is better than the old version.

☹ Cons:

- The call quality can be choppy at times.

- The chat feature is not reliable and does not alert you when a new message is received.

- The app has many glitches and is less user-friendly than the previous version.

- The dial pad function does not work well.

- Mitel support is unhelpful and the app is not a priority for them.

- The app does not work for many users, making it a waste of money for some.

Chat feature is worthless

I had the old version of the app before this new one came out, and while this version visually looks better, the chat feature is garbage. I used to receive notification when a new chat message came in, but the new app doesn’t alert you when a chat message is received nor does it receive chat messages unless you send a message out via the app. If I’m away from my desk, it would be nice to know if a chat message comes in. I contacted this app to see if they had a fix for the chat issue, and they weren’t helpful at all. I was told that they couldn’t discuss anything with me because I wasn’t the contact on my company’s account.
Mitel should republish the old version

It difficult to overstate how bad this new version is. I used the older version all the time and it worked well. This version has many glitches, it is far less user friendly, and even simple things, such as the dial pad function function poorly. It seems inexplicable because the prior version had no such deficiencies. Mitel has been impossible to work with. This is clearly not a priority for them. Anyone that values softphone functionality should avoid buying from Mitel until they fix this. Terrible
May work for a few but not for most

Several of my employees had this working at one time, however between upgrades it now works for none. Spent multiple visits and extended periods of time with Mitel support, totally wasted time. They finally admitted that only a few people could actually get this app to work. This is one of the features that swayed my decision making in purchasing the Mitel system, totally worthless - certainly not getting my moneys worth.
Mostly works

The app does what it is supposed to do pretty well. You can answer your desk phone on your mobile. My main problem is that the calls can be very choppy sometimes. If the call quality was more stable then it would be 5 stars.
