  • Want to use it daily - but 2 missing features made me delete it

    By DJ Rizzo (Pcmac user)

Still no fix for these missing vital features. Almost all my audio entertainment and information is via podcasts and/or streams. I actually keep 3 podcast apps on my iPhone because each has features I want/need. I would enjoy having an app like this app. With the pro version features it would literally be a one-tap source for news. But 2 major features that most podcast apps have are missing: 1) Registering it with the system as a spoken-word audio app. Because it is not recognized as such, if I am using a Navigation app the voice directions speak on top of the news playback. Subsequently I can’t hear several seconds of the news I’m listening to which usually leads to missing information relevant to the story. 2) Ability for short skips backward and forward in playback. You know this feature: you missed something and you want to go back a few seconds to hear it again. Or maybe you want to skip some audio to get to something else. Even more disappointing is that it doesn’t have these commands available via Bluetooth like most all other major non-Apple podcast apps do. I’ll be monitoring this app’s updates in case they add these must have features. When they do, I’ll pay for the pro version. In the meantime I’m glad I got the basic version when it was free.
  • What’s wrong with this app

    By Elag8 (Pcmac user)

I contacted you before and received no response. I purchased this app so I could press play and go on with my activities. After the last update I can no longer do that this app no longer plays in the background and my phone cannot fall asleep if it does fall asleep or I continue other work outside of the app it stops playing. I use to be able to press play allow my phone to sleep and the app would play all news sources and stop and/or I could just press play and go back to whatever I was working on as the this app app played to its completion in the background. Now I must stay on the app and I have to set my phone to never sleep and at times have to manually select the next news app to hear them one after the other. Will you please help me with this problem. Thank you Gale
  • A very good app but for some minor stuff

    By Shaib_fujin (Pcmac user)

The app takes somewhat high data and even on a wifi connection it needs a pretty high one to load the news. The other thing I really want is offline saving. For example when m going to my job I want to download all the available news for that time and listen offline. That would be a nice thing. The app is beautiful. I like the minimum features. No need to mess with many settings this way. Just open and start listening.
  • Really good for catching the American fake media in the act

By garbage collector, apparently (Pcmac user)

I like this app. I used to listen to individual news bulletins on individual streams. But with this app I get news from around the world all in one place. Very convenient. But also very useful in helping notice the American media lying about or misrepresenting reality. Maybe if the app also featured news from South Africa, Australia, and an English-speaking Asian market that would be good too.
