Download and install the Type S LED app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Type S LED on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Type S LED"
- The search will reveal the Type S LED app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Type S LED is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Type S LED.
- Now enjoy Type S LED on PC.
- Using Type S LED on Mac OS:

To get Type S LED on Windows 11, check if there's a native Type S LED Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing Type S LED:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "Type S LED" » Click "Install" to install Type S LED
- Type S LED will now be available on your windows start-menu.

I mean it works🤷🏼♀️

Could DEFIANTLY use some improvements. The speed “slide” is backwards. So what you would think is slower, is actually faster and vice versa. It would be nice if you could select multiple colors on strobe. Last thing, a for sure off button so I’m not driving down the road impersonating a cop and not even knowing it. I can turn it off and know that it’s off.
Besides all those requests, it does work and does have some nice features. But let’s face it, if your looking at this app it’s probably because you’ve already bought the light kit.

Update ruined my whole setup

Ever since the last update that changed the game way the app looked none of my lights function properly, they’re literally not even worth using at this point, it’s that bad. Speed adjustment doesn’t work right, it almost doesn’t even work at all, when adjusted all the way up the lights appear to be steady burn then flash once every like 1 minute or so but when adjust at 1/4 of full speed they are kinda fast but not like before and I haven’t been able to find anything wrong with my lights, vehicle or phone and this is phone #2 that this problem among the page long list of other issues I’m experiencing that this has persisted with. And I’m now considering the hundreds of dollars I’ve spend on the app S lights to be a loss. To other people who are on the fence about buying some, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! You guys really need to fix this crappy app you have or provide your customers with an update or some kind of solution to this problem because I’ve spent well over $600 on these products only for them to randomly be rendered useless.

Needs improvement.

This app is ok. It needs a few improvements. The brightness and speed dial should have a number so you can make all of your lights even. You should be able to change multiple lights at once. Need a way to delete presets. Maybe some sort of security is also needed. Allow us to change options on things like which lights are in the prism of which light cycles. Sensitivity meter for music mode.

Very nice app

The app works great haven’t had any issues so far with it. One suggestion to the creators is and it’s a long shot but see what I’d take to make the app Apple CarPlay compatible. It would be very nice if there was a way do change the colors and setting from my head unit in my truck rather than pulling my phone out to do it. Just a suggestion don’t know if it’s even possible but that would be an awesome feature.
