Install Weather Nerd app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Weather Nerd on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Weather Nerd"
The search will reveal the Weather Nerd app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Weather Nerd is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Weather Nerd.
Now enjoy Weather Nerd on PC.

I love this app for the app. I paid the first time with the intention of it being a one-time thing, but yet a found myself renewing over and over again. Like a lot of people, I downloaded a bunch of the app apps to decide which to keep. This was the winner. I love the accuracy. I love being able to see what is happening in the next hour. Several times I have been out with family or friends and it's started to rain. While they were all ready to pack it up, I was able to check the app and see that the rain will stop in 8 min. That's exactly what happened too. Great the app app!

This is a nice the app app, I prefer the graph style before the text. I've been using Dark Sky for quite a while and I'm familiar with the accuracy of the predictions. What I hate a lot in this app are the text fonts they use. I need a magnifying glass to clearly see the letters. They aren't small, but they're are crowded together. It always tires my eyes trying to read the data. I understand that they chose these fonts to save space, but I'm sure there is a better way to make this work. My 10 year old can read those letters without problems, but not me or my husband. Suggestion: on the "today" page, where seems to be the "space" problem, the temperature digits can be a little smaller, then move the max and min temperatures below the actual. Also, on the "week" page, I would like to see more colorful icons, instead of the black and white symbols: sun to be yellow, moon filled in white, clouds light or dark grey, depending on the the app. That would be perfect!

I've tried a lot of the app apps and I always found that, if they contained a lot of nerdy information, I couldn't quickly find what I needed. OR, if it was good at giving me a quick overview of the day ahead it would be lacking in detail. I really feel that this app strikes a great balance: I can immediately get a good idea of what the day will be like, but it's really easy to dig deeper and get the geeky details. Plus, the icon is a cloud with glasses.
Paid app + sub but rarely updated

This is a great app. It’s accurate and easy to see and understand the data however it’s rarely updated and you never know if the last update is the final one, we are once again slowly creeping up on another year with no updates, no bug fixes, no new features, etc. I wish the developers liked and cared about this app as much as the users do. I canceled my subscription. A messages to others considering this app as a first time purchase or those who already have it, check your subscription and consider canceling it, if people don’t buy or subscribe maybe the developers will take notice and give this app and its customers the updates, bug fixes, new features and polish they deserve.
