Great! Just getting started & already lots of fun! As an ‘elderly person’, I’m serious about watching my diet and excercise. This program fits my needs immediately, with lots more to explore… nutrient research, specific excercise workouts, templates, etc. imported a friend’s recipe that included an “&” in the directions that caused a minor problem. Contacted the developer and he discovered the issue & told me to change the “&” to “and”. The program worked just fine with that adjustment. (He is fixing "the bug" for the next release.) I highly reccommend this app for the casual, as well as the serious. I’m particularly looking forward to using the grocery list!

I often eat Lean Cuisine meals for lunch. This app has no ability to add frozen entrees to its list. In fact, I couldn’t find a way to add any item that wasn’t on their list. Seems short sighted to me.

Really helps keep me on track. Great price for all that it offers.
  • The contras overweight the pros.

I used VidaOne Diet & Fitness for years when I was on PC and was totally happy with it. Trying to find something similar that I could use on Mac and iPhone. This program definitely has 3 very important Pros: 1. It has counterpart on the iPhone, so you can add food on the go. 2. It allows enter the exact amount of food you used (e.g. nor just "small apple", but 167 g of apple) 3. You can enter GI (pretty rare and very important feature) But it has Contras that make the program useless for me (unfortunately!): 1. I cannot enter a new item - I eat pretty crazy foods and want them to be in my items list. The link for YouTube than showed how to add new item does not work. There are only links how to add recipes and meals from existing items 2. I cannot "turn off" (or delete) some item groups like "baby food", "restaurant food", “pork” etc. - that I will never use, but have to navigate though them. 3. I cannot enter the time when I have a meal - it is very important for some diets (e.g. you must have 3 hours between high GI product and fatty product). 4, I cannot find the place to enter my calories/nutrients goal for the day and how many calories I used at fitness - I want to keep negative balance for a while. The good news that I spent only $5 for the thing I cannot use!
