  • Fun game and updated review

    By Suzsho (Pcmac user)

Update #2: sorry it took me so long.... we now have the option to start at the new chapter without replaying earlier ones. Thanks so much for listening, Developers! Five stars! Really fun game. Can't wait for chapter 5. Update: chapter 3 was excellent fun! But please give us the option to start at the new chapter if we've already played the earlier chapters. More about this below. Thanks, Yak games! It's a great game and getting better with the new parts. Lighthearted room escape type puzzle game. You're an the app searching the home of a spy in order to catch her. She has secret rooms, safes, codes, etc. the puzzles are fun.... not too difficult but still entertaining. I took off two stars for two reasons: it's quite short, and there's a very long lag time when moving from one room to another - it's sooooo slooooow - which definitely hinders the enjoyment of the game. Did anyone else have that problem? Developers: can you speed up the transition time? Other than that, a fun game that's short and sweet.... definitely worth the 99 cents.
  • Love this game so so much! No complain!

    By NeverTakeThings4Granted (Pcmac user)

My son and I had played this game together over a year and finally got to play the last chapter. Lots of people complained about the last chapter being rushed and not as good as the previous chapters! Come on people, the game developers worked hard to give us such a well-thought game, stop complaining and start appreciating it. Life has ups and downs, so is everything else! So if they had the chapters reverse, then would you call it a good game? They had already thought of extremely good game in the beginning already, gave you all the quality they could, then of course sometimes in the end it gets a little less exciting but it’s still good. Don’t sit there and expect too much and too high up just because you paid a few bucks and allow yourself to talk trash when things don’t turn out the way you expect. So easy for the people that just sit and talk garbage of others! How about trying to think of an easy game first to see how hard it is to design something!
  • Good game, needs more puzzle, less spot-the-monkey

    By mrflip (Pcmac user)

I enjoyed the game and will keep playing, but the latest update left me cold. In the fourth section in particular, there are all these visual clues running through but we never actually meet the puzzles — instead you’re just trotting from screen laboriously back to start to gather scraps of blueprint. Who cares? There were too often stretches with very little breadth in story 4. Most of the time I spent with only one puzzle in front of me, rather than having multiple fronts to work against. The game is much more fun when I have six things I know are clues and three things I need to find solution for. (Earlier sections do better on this.) Finally, the pinch to step back is cute in theory but slow in practice and often unreliable. I’d much rather have a plain old back button at the bottom of the inventory pane.
  • What a disappointing ending!

    By Captain froggie (Pcmac user)

My Daughter and I enjoyed playing this game so much! Especially chapters 1-3 with great puzzles that made us really use our brains. Chapter 4 fell a little short of the standards set by the previous ones, but was good enough, and laid the ground for a very promising and exciting chapter 5. After after a very frustrating 20 month wait, where we literally checked for updates everyday, expectations were high when it was finally released. I thought it would have been at least at the same level of chapters 1-3. Instead, we were finished within a few hours, without even thinking too hard, and with a very anticlimactic and expected ending. It feels like the “Final blow” was rushed through the door at the last minute. This game had so much potential for a way better and more exciting ending! I feel so let down. Now I know the difficulties and resources needed to develop such a great game, but I feel Yak and Co. really dropped the ball on this one. Maybe someone just downloading the game now without having to wait wouldn’t mind, but for us fans who followed this great game since the beginning, this is a rather cruel ending.
